The Companion provides me with the freedom to explore places I wouldn't have gone before, even with my own van. I can travel from one end of the Oshawa Lakeview Park Pier to the Waterfront Trail and everywhere in between—exploring downtown Oshawa, the trail to the lake, and so much more. I’m able to go places that, before, my elbows and shoulders would not have allowed.
Paul is an active Companion user, former wheelchair racer and Paralympic athlete. He organizes and coaches Boccia at the Abilities Center in Whitby, Ontario.
