Tracy Otto - US Paralympic Archer

Being a Para Archer comes with many challenges, especially when I travel. Oftentimes, I would find myself stuck in a hotel room in other beautiful countries, missing out on an adventure due to the terrain—usually cobblestones, dirt, and other inaccessible areas—and exhaustion from pushing my chair. Not only that, but venues for archery are often not accessible due to the same issue of the terrain, usually grass or turf, which makes it incredibly difficult and exhausting for me to navigate. The device isn’t just beneficial for myself either. Gone are the days where my caregiver/boyfriend has to struggle to push me on top of managing all of my things.

Now that I have the Companion with the Q Alternative Controls, my quality of life, independence, and physical well-being have changed dramatically! I can now go places and do things without struggling and enjoy life in a way I thought I had lost forever. I am so incredibly grateful to Cheelcare for this amazing device.
