2 years after being in my chair, and lots of physio for both my shoulders, I was told to look into a mobility device. I have been in my chair for the last 5 years, after surviving stage 3 cervical cancer in 2020. Radiation left me unable to walk 6 months after. Now 3 years cancer-free and travelling the world, my Companion takes me everywhere. I am well aware it was not built for the types of rough and crazy terrains I have put it through, but it’s still going strong. This is my second Companion, and this one just passed 3,500 km. Definitely a recommend, the selling point is it goes in the overhead compartment on planes. That is why we decided to go with Cheelcare.
