Coming across the Companion Plus in 2023 changed everything for me. When I was born, I was diagnosed with Arthrogryposis, which means multiple joints in my body are stiff, and I have limitations in the movement of my arms, which made it difficult for me to control my wheelchair at times. As I grew, I faced many challenges in being able to travel further distances with my wheelchair. I would constantly complain about how much my arms got tired after pushing myself every day. With the Companion, I was able to gain some independence and go anywhere I wanted without struggling to push myself or getting tired.
